Sunday - A day of rest

It’s Sunday and for the first time the day seemed to match the feeling.  It felt like a typical Sunday. We “watched” Mass {that was a new experience}, but the kids were still wiggling around and trying to tell me that  their toe nail suddenly needed to be trimmed LOL. I felt like I was in the pew.

I went to Joann’s and picked up some fabric.  Thanks to Suzy’s Quilts for the pattern.  I’ve had the #bayside quilt in my saved folder on instagram for months.  I can't wait to sew tomorrow. I figured since we are home with nowhere to be I should start working on Christmas presents.  You’ll thank me in November when you have all the presents done :)

We went for a ride at RD Ranch.  It was quiet there. Emily rode Annie and Lola and Sawyer rode the Pony, Jet.  Our pony Jet was diagnosed with Cushings, several months back. It is a pituitary gland deficiency similar  to humans. Now that he is medicated he is shedding off the pounds. It is pretty amazing. Him and Sawyer are a dynamic duo and I’m hoping that rodeo season will happen so that we can watch those two.   It felt good to do a regular activity. Hook up the trailer, saddle, load horses, and ride. Kids rolled down the car windows and stuck their heads out. The fresh air felt fantastic.

Here’s to Sundays at home! It was refreshing.  I’m recharged for the new week. Setting my alarm tomorrow morning ;) Getting with it.  Real estate, home school, and RANCHETTE life. Stay tuned for garden planning.

Happy Sunday.  Hope you are well!

Love, Nat  xoxo
