Hello!

I’m Natalie Wilson, Realtor and founder of CentralValleyRancehttes.com. I am a happy wife and mom of three wonderful kiddos - Emily, Sawyer, and Finlee - who inspired our family to want to move from city to country. My real estate career and passion has grown over the years, and I am excited for the next chapter that is now unfolding...

THIS IS MY STORY

REAL ESTATE, DESIGN, &
FARM LIFE

My story starts in 2007 when I graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a Business Marketing degree and got married - all in the same year! After several years in the business world and feeling restless about my career, I embarked on a new endeavor as a Realtor.

My business slowly took off as I juggled being a fireman’s wife and having three small kids all under the age of four.  My husband and I talked a lot about raising our family in the country, but we were pretty certain that it wasn’t possible. In July 2015 we closed escrow on a one-acre ranchette that no one was willing to take a chance on.

We sold our house in town, moved in with my parents, and scraped together all our extra pennies to move from city to country.  We built a new, simple farmhouse that fit the needs of our family. After nine long months of renovation, we moved our life to the country and have never looked back.

Meanwhile, real estate was moving along, buyers and sellers were coming and going and people were asking lots of questions about our move. I started blogging and sharing our story and soon found that my passions for real estate, design, and farm life, were all coming together.

Full Circle

I began to focus on ranchettes and helping families (clients) just like mine see the potential in modest farmhouse fixer-uppers and finding properties that gave them their own piece of land. I began to ponder what would make this huge undertaking of buying and selling country property in CA’s central valley just a little easier and from there the idea of Central Valley Ranchettes was born. I want to give everyone access to available ranchettes on the market, a place to explore a curated set of listings, based on your preferences, and organized so you don’t have to labor over search terms.

This is a place to learn from experts and fellow homeowners about what it takes to own agricultural property. And it’s all focused on making your city to county goals a reality!
